Translational Immuno-Informatics Laboratory
Reimagining Medicine
The TIIL leverages highly innovative data-driven approaches to translate novel discoveries in tumor resistance mechanisms to new clinical trials in cancer immunotherapy.
Our research team integrates multi-omics data (genomics, proteomics, metagenomics, metabolics, and spatial imaging collected from clinical trials and public/internal databases) to interrogate the interaction among compartments of tumor immune microenvironment.
We develop novel computational approaches and statistical models to nominate new therapeutic targets for future clinical trials.

Genetic and environmental markers of cancer therapy
We leverage high-dimensional medical and biological data to discover tumor-intrinsic markers and commensal microbiota that modulate response to immunotherapy.
Genomics and spatial imaging of immunotherapy
We develop machine-learning & deep-learning techniques to quantify immune/tumor cells from high-resolution images and integrate with genomic biomarkers to predict cancer or other disease treatment outcome.
Innovative clinical trials
We design rational cancer immunotherapy trials, leveraging our prior translational laboratory findings and prior clinical experience into field-leading combination studies.
